Plat4m Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Chotu Customer mobile application
(the "App"). Chotu Customer is a food and grocery ordering app that lets customers in
small towns browse menus, place orders, and get deliveries from local stores and
restaurants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard
your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- Login credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form)
Delivery Address
- Street address, city, state, and zip code for order delivery
- You may save multiple delivery addresses in your account
Order Information
- Order history, including items ordered, quantities, and prices
- Order status and delivery tracking information
- Store/restaurant preferences and favorites
Payment Information
- Payment processing is handled by third-party providers
- We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials
- We may store transaction reference IDs from payment processors
Device Information
- Device type, operating system, and version
- Unique device identifiers
- IP address
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process and deliver your orders
- Communicate order updates and delivery status
- Improve the App and personalize your experience
- Send service-related communications (e.g., OTP codes, order confirmations)
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect or process data:
- Firebase (Google) — Crash reporting (Crashlytics), push notifications (FCM)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud hosting and data storage
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review
their policies for details on their data practices.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following cases:
- With stores and delivery partners — Your name, delivery address, and order details are shared with the store fulfilling your order and the delivery driver assigned to your order.
- Service providers — With trusted third parties that help us operate the App (as listed above).
- Legal compliance — When required by law, court order, or governmental request.
- Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App.
After account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except
where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Hashed password storage
- Token-based authentication with session management
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or
storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and personal data (see our Account Deletion page)

Our App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor,
please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page
with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
