Plat4minc Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Opus POS mobile application and
web platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect,
use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect

Account Information
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- Business/store name and address
- Login credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form)
Device Information
- Device type, operating system, and version
- Unique device identifiers (device ID)
- IP address
Location Data
- Store address provided during registration
- We do not collect real-time GPS location data
Transaction Data
- Order and sales records created through the POS system
- Product inventory and pricing data
- Cash management records (start cash, end cash, payouts)
Payment Information
- Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Clover)
- We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials
- We may store transaction reference IDs from payment processors
Usage and Diagnostic Data
- App crash logs and error reports (collected via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Feature usage patterns and app performance data
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Opus POS service
- Process transactions and manage store inventory
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Generate sales reports and business analytics
- Send service-related communications (e.g., OTP codes, password resets)
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect or process data:
- Clover — Payment processing and POS hardware integration
- Firebase (Google) — Crash reporting (Crashlytics), push notifications (FCM)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud hosting and data storage
- Twilio — SMS notifications and delivery
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review
their policies for details on their data practices.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following cases:
- With your consent — When you explicitly authorize sharing
- Service providers — With trusted third parties that help us operate the Service (as listed above)
- Legal compliance — When required by law, court order, or governmental request
- Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
After account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except
where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records or financial transaction records).
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for
analytics and service improvement purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Hashed password storage
- Token-based authentication with session management
- Access controls and role-based permissions
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly

with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
