Privacy Policy — Chotu Delivery

Plat4m Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Chotu Delivery mobile application
(the "App"). Chotu Delivery is a delivery driver app that enables drivers to accept and
fulfill delivery orders from local stores and restaurants in small towns. This Privacy
Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you
use our App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- Login credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form)
Location Data
- Real-time GPS location while the App is active and you are on duty
- Location data is used to assign nearby deliveries, optimize routes, and share your location with customers awaiting delivery
- Location tracking stops when you go off duty or close the App
Delivery Information
- Delivery history, including pickup and drop-off details
- Delivery status updates and timestamps
- Earnings and payout records
Device Information
- Device type, operating system, and version
- Unique device identifiers
- IP address
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your driver account
- Assign delivery orders based on your location and availability
- Share your real-time location with customers for delivery tracking
- Calculate and process your delivery earnings
- Send service-related communications (e.g., new order notifications, OTP codes)
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect or process data:
- Google Maps / Location Services — Navigation and route optimization
- Firebase (Google) — Crash reporting (Crashlytics), push notifications (FCM)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud hosting and data storage
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review
their policies for details on their data practices.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following cases:
- With customers — Your first name and real-time location are shared with customers for delivery tracking. Your phone number may be shared for delivery coordination.
- With store operators — Your name and delivery status are shared with the store fulfilling the order.
- Service providers — With trusted third parties that help us operate the App (as listed above).
- Legal compliance — When required by law, court order, or governmental request.
- Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App.
After account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except
where retention is required by law. Location data is retained only for the duration of each
active delivery session and is not stored long-term.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Hashed password storage
- Token-based authentication with session management
- Location data transmitted over encrypted connections
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or
storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and personal data (see our Account Deletion page)

8. Children's Privacy
Our App is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age and legally
authorized to perform delivery services. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page
with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
